Garrett Dotson, 22-year-old son of Storage Wars star Dan Dotson, was critically injured in a drive-by shooting outside an Airbnb in Lake Havasu, Arizona, around 3:15 a.m. on a Sunday morning.
After being shot, Garrett managed to walk back inside and call 911 before being rushed to a local hospital, then airlifted to a trauma center in Las Vegas due to internal bleeding. His mother, Laura Dotson, praised Dr. Christopher Salvino, who reportedly kept Garrett alive by manually massaging his heart during the helicopter ride. Dan Dotson confirmed the incident in a series of tweets, expressing relief that his son survived surgery and is expected to recover. The bullet fractured Garrett’s spine, but he has since shown signs of improvement, including moving his foot. Laura believes her son may have been targeted for visiting a local woman, while Lake Havasu authorities are investigating the case as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, potentially linked to a previous shooting in Phoenix. No arrests have been made.
