Jennifer Love Hewitt, 46, Probably The Most Indecent Woman In The World

Jennifer Love Hewitt is set to return as Julie in the upcoming soft reboot of I Know What You Did Last Summer, which might surprise fans who remember her being dragged under the bed by the fisherman at the end of the sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

Co-writer Sam Lansky, speaking with SFX Magazine via CinemaBlend, addressed the confusion by suggesting that the scene was never meant to be taken literally—comparing it to the ambiguous shower scare at the end of the first film—and implying that these moments were more symbolic or dreamlike rather than actual events, thus making Julie’s return in the 2025 movie plausible within the storyline.
