But in the middle of the conversation, Guthrie accidentally referred to actor Rex Linn—Reba’s real-life fiancé who also stars as her husband on the show—as her actual husband in real life.
The small mix-up led to a brief, lighthearted pause. Reba quickly raised her hands and jumped in before viewers could react, joking, “Now wait a minute. Before everyone has a conniption fit at home—we’re just engaged!”
Guthrie immediately apologized with a laugh, replying, “You’re engaged? I’m sorry—soon to be married!”
